What kind of professional should enrol into the program?
CLP is designed for cyber security professionals at any stage of their career, but specifically those looking to accelerate into senior leadership: senior IT professionals switching into cyber leadership, technical professionals targeting senior roles, heads of information security looking for their first CISO role, newly appointed CISOs building their first 100-day plan, senior executives accountable for cybersecurity, and consultants who want to sharpen their conversations with CISOs and executives.
What experience is required — are there any prerequisites?
No leadership skills are required to enter the course, but there is an expectation that you have a background and experience in cyber security and/or information technology. If unsure, schedule a call with our consultants.
Where are you located?
Our headquarters is in Sydney CBD, with faculty based across Australia, Singapore and the United States.
Can my employer pay for the course?
Yes — check your company training policies. We provide a downloadable sample email capturing the information employers typically request for funding approval.
Are the program fees tax deductible?
It depends on your country and circumstances. In Australia, self-education expenses may be deductible if sufficiently connected to your current employment. Consult a tax accountant.
What are my payment options and when do I have to pay?
Full payment — via credit card or bank transfer — must be received before the program start date. Payment plans are available; discuss with our enrolment officers.

How long is the program?
Eight weeks, combining self-paced lectures with a live Zoom call each week.
What happens if I can’t complete the program in 8 weeks?
You can defer at no extra cost or re-enrol in the next cohort. If your employer funded the enrolment, you may need their approval.
How do you deliver the program?
Entirely online. You watch pre-recorded modules in your own time, then join a weekly facilitated Zoom call with your cohort.
How many hours per week should I devote?
Around 2 to 3 hours a week across the eight weeks.
What time are the Zoom calls?
Because of the global reach of the program there are no pre-set times. Once enrolment for a cohort is finalised, we organise the weekly calls considering the time zones represented — usually two sessions per week are offered.
How long will I have access to the materials?
You get full access to the program content (online lectures and transcripts) for a standard twelve months. With an active membership you retain access to the Cyber Leadership Hub toolkits and resources.
How long have you been running the course?
The co-founders — with combined experience spanning more than 70 years — have been practicing and teaching these leadership principles for decades. Our first formal CLP cohort graduated in February 2020.
How will people know I’ve completed the program?
You receive a Credly digital badge on completion, which you can display on LinkedIn and in your email signature.
Are there exams, assignments or tests?
There are no exams. You complete a flagship capstone project — a high-value cyber resilience strategy developed with expert mentoring and pitched to your peers.
Can you guarantee me a CISO role?
CLP will equip you with the leadership skills and confidence required to land a CISO interview and nail it. Obviously, no program can guarantee a CISO role.
What if in week one I feel the program is not for me?
The program carries a 30-day full money-back guarantee.
Are there still positions available in the upcoming enrollment?
Yes, but they fill up quickly. Early registration is recommended to secure your slot.
How does registration work?

You gain access to the course materials to peruse before the course commences, and receive information about start dates and scheduled Zoom calls via your nominated form of contact.
How do I access my course?
The course is delivered via an online e-learning platform accessible from desktop or mobile, wherever you are. After registering you receive instructions on how to access the content.
How many students are in a cohort — who will be my classmates?
Cohorts are kept small so everyone gets 1:1 support, drawn from a global pool of experienced senior practitioners and cyber leaders.
When and how often will my cohort meet?
Depending on time zones, there are usually two Zoom sessions per week offered. You meet weekly with the participants who join your nominated session.
What time do classes meet?
Classes meet via weekly Zoom calls. There are no pre-set times — once enrolment is finalised, calls are scheduled considering the time zones in your cohort.
What if I can’t start on the scheduled date?
The program is self-paced. If you cannot attend most of the scheduled Zoom calls, speak to our consultants — we offer deferral and rescheduling at no extra cost.
What should I do if I’m away for a few days?
As the program is self-paced, you can catch up as required — content is accessible anytime, anywhere. If a longer absence will impact your learning, speak to our team.
